It was a good start to the new sailing season with 4 races and an alternative Committee boat on the water. Not so easy, so thanks to all helpers for the support in that department. The essence of team racing is having fun and good healthy competition with your fellow sailors, performed in a safe and seamanship manner. It allow all levels of sailors and their crew to get on the water and practice their racing skills. Something that keeps us coming back for more! It really was wonderful to see all the usual faces around the club and new faces too, although, there are still a few missing that we would love to see soon. Congrats to Matthaeus and Luca with 3 bullets. Really well done for a young, promising helm and encouraging father. Also it was good to see Joelle and Holly as a ladies team. Lastly a special mention goes to Tom and Jed who sailed brilliantly in race 4 and got 3rd - should have been 2nd. It seems the father and son teams work well! Let's see some more. Happy sailing!
